Easter at The Briar Group

March 30, 2018 / Holidays / Holiday

Spring is in the air! The days are longer, the birds have returned, and pastel colors are on the rise. Easter is this Sunday, April 1st, and whether or not you celebrate it, it’s the perfect excuse to sit down for a tasty brunch with friends and family.

This year, we have several locations serving Easter specials—City Table, Gather, MJ O’Connor’s at Park Plaza, Anthem Kitchen & Bar, and Glass House.

City Table (Lenox hotel, Back Bay) will be offering specials in addition to their regular menu, including a mouthwatering rack of lamb with whipped spring parsnips, asparagus, mint, and golden raisin chutney. Good news for you morning people—brunch starts at 7am!

Gather (Seaport), open at 11am, will also be offering a lamb special—Chef Dennis Wilson will be serving his sautéed lamb medallions with asparagus, fava beans, spring peas, baby carrots, and a dilled cream sauce.

The newly renovated MJ O’Connor’s (Park Plaza) will also open at 11am. Stop by for the classic brunch combo of eggs and mimosas! Check out their three-egg omelet with fresh asparagus, crispy prosciutto, roasted tomatoes, goat cheese, breakfast potatoes, and toast (on the right, below).

Anthem Kitchen & Bar (Faneuil Hall) will be open at 9am, and will feature flavorful menu additions such as pistachio-crusted duck breast, split pea soup with ham and crème fraiche, and roasted asparagus carbonara.

Finally, Glass House (Kendall Square, Cambridge) has a fabulous new brunch menu that will be making its debut on Easter! Call (617) 945-9450 to reserve your table, and enjoy a complementary egg hunt and photo-op with the Easter Bunny! After that, the menu will continue to be offered every Sunday starting at 11am. Enjoy upscale offerings such as oysters on the half shell, charcuterie, and lobster benedict, or stick to the brunch classics such as buttermilk pancakes or steak and eggs.
