Four Dine Out Menus to Try This Week

The highly-anticipated summer edition of Dine Out Boston is now in full swing, with over 150 restaurants participating throughout the Boston area. Formerly known as Restaurant Week, Dine Out Boston is a semi-annual two week period in which local restaurants offer prix fixe menus for affordable prices, encouraging diners to sample new spots. This summer, Dine Out occurs from August 5th through the 17th.
We have four participating restaurants in the Briar Group family, spread throughout the city from Cambridge to the Seaport. Glass House, Gather, City Table and Anthem are all offering special prix fixes this week and next!
Glass House, located in Cambridge in the heart of Kendall Square, is participating in Dine Out now through August 10th and 12th-17th. Stop by after work to enjoy a 3-course dinner for $38-- relax in their modern dining room or revel in the summer night out on the patio. Their Dine Out menu offers a variety of dishes with unique flavors; choose from 4 appetizers, 3 entrées and 2 desserts to complete your 3-course experience. We suggest the shrimp and grits appetizer, which is made with Geechie Boy mill grits, smoky bacon and collards. Gather, located in the Seaport District, is also participating in Dine Out now through August 10th and the 12th-17th. At Gather, savor a 2-course lunch for $20 or a 3-course dinner for $33 while enjoying a waterfront view, patio seating and a vibrant dining environment. One of their lunch appetizers, the Havarti fondue, and a dinner entrée, the tikka masala, are new dishes created just for Dine Out. View their full Dine Out menu here.
City Table, located in Back Bay within the Lenox hotel, is participating straight through the two weeks of Dine Out, now through August 17th. Enjoy an upscale 3-course dinner in the heart of Boston for just $33. Their Dine Out menu has options for everyone, ranging from burgers to salmon while also catering to vegetarian and gluten-sensitive guests. Their pan-roasted Faroe Islands salmon is served with sautéed spring vegetables, baby potatoes, saffron fumet and garlic aioli. The veggie risotto is also a great option, consisting of spring asparagus, English peas, roasted carrots, herbs and parmesan (both of these dishes are gluten free). view their complete Dine Out menu here.
Anthem, located in bustling Faneuil Hall, is participating in Dine Out from now through August 10th and August 12th-17th. They are offering both lunch and dinner specials: a 2-course lunch for $20 and a 3-course dinner for $33. This lunch appetizer is almost too pretty to eat… the avocado toast crostini consists of creamy avocado, tomato, and crispy pancetta-- drizzled in chili oil! Created exclusively for Dine Out, the short rib ravioli is one of their tastiest dinner entrées, made with fire-roasted tomato sauce, basil ribbons and herbed ricotta.
