Where to Watch the Stanley Cup Finals in Boston - 2019
May 31, 2019
The Bruins made it to the Stanley Cup finals and there is no shortage of excitement!
Hurricane’s at the Garden made headlines when the Bruins took on the Carolina Hurricanes in the semi-finals. Located just steps from TD Garden on Canal St., the team at Hurricane’s at the Garden added a banner reading “BEAT THE” above their sign, rallying behind Boston as they fought for a spot in the finals.
When the Bruins swept the Hurricanes and advanced to the Stanley Cup finals against the St. Louis Blues, Hurricane’s at the Garden announced their partnership with Barstool Radio for the final series. El Presidente (Dave Portnoy), Riggs and Feitelberg hosted a live broadcast before games 1 and 2, followed by a live podcast from the Spittin’ Chiclets team. Barstool radio will be back again before game 5 at home on Thursday, June 6th.
When the weather permits, Hurricane’s opens their Canal St. patio, perfect for accommodating crowds across from TD Garden on game days. For the remaining games in the series, Hurricane’s will continue to offer game day bites and beverages for hungry fans. View the menu here.
Around the corner on Causeway St., The Harp hosted the NHL for games 1 and 2 as they broadcasted their Stanley Cup Live show, bringing along the Stanley Cup trophy itself as well as three-time Stanley Cup champion Patrick Sharp. Camille Kostek (Sports Illustrated swimsuit model and girlfriend of recently-retired Patriots player Rob Gronkowski) was also in attendance.
The Harp offers late night dining and features live entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays. Following game 3 on Saturday, June 3, Holly Heist will provide live music for the post-game. View the entire entertainment calendar here.
As if all that weren’t enough, the Bruins took over Canal St. and hosted Fan Fest for games 1 and 2. Fans flooded the neighborhood for the pre-game festivities and attended watch parties at both Hurricane’s and The Harp following.
Although Fan Fest takes place only before home games, both Hurricane’s and The Harp will host watch parties for the remaining games in the series, streaming every game in the series on HD projectors in addition to numerous television screens. Both serve as pre-game and post-game destinations for those lucky enough to score home game tickets.
If you’d prefer a spot away from all the action, you can still cheer on the B’s at Solas, Ned Devine’s, MJ O’Connor’s (Back Bay and Waterfront locations), and our newest location Six String Grill & Stage. Located at Patriot Place in Foxborough, MA, Six String serves diverse and delicious American food and features live country and rock music from local and national musicians. The restaurant streams the Stanley Cup finals on their 20+ screens and is hosting the Eric Grant Band following game 3 on Saturday, June 3. Check out the Six String website for the full menu and entertainment calendar.
